Investment Objectives

The Fund’s investment objective is to provide exposure to a broader range of resource companies including infrastructure companies that support resource companies. The Fund invests primarily in equity and fixed income securities (including high yield debt securities) of resource companies and infrastructure companies located anywhere in the world.

Why Buy This Fund?

  • Provides diversification beyond Canadian natural resource; asset class diversification (equities, high yield, prefs, convertibles) as well as sector/industry diversification
  • Use of liquid alternative tools to reduce volatility: options, shorting, currency, cash
  • Pays a fixed monthly distribution (~ 2.9% yield p.a.); very few resources funds pay a yield
